1How do I make a booking?
To make a booking with Taylor Horseboxes you can either call us on 07496 304134, message via the Facebook page or send us a message using the form on the Contact Us page to check availability for the dates you wish to book. If the trailer is available on the dates you require, you will be able to confirm your booking by making full payment. We require this to complete your booking, this is due to the fact that many people book and never show, this is unfair to people we have had to turn away
2What documentation do I need to have?
Please check you have the correct driving licence to tow these trailers, full licences held before 1997 were automatically entitled to B+E on your licence which allowed you to tow a trailer up to 3500kg gross weight, however licences held after 1997 do not automatically get B+E entitlement and need to take a separate trailer test to tow up get this. This does not mean that you cannot tow but restricts you to certain rules, to find out what you can tow please read the Towing and The Law page.. In order to hire the trailer for self-drive, the hirer must provide as identity a valid Driving Licence, valid Insurance Certificate for the tow vehicle and 2 original household bills dated within the last 8 weeks. The hirer agrees to these documents being photocopied and retained by the owner until the trailer is returned. It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that the vehicle insurance covers towing the trailer. The trailer must only be towed by the specified vehicle driven by person/s covered by that insurance policy.
3Numberplates.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure there is a legal number plate on the trailer you are hiring, we can provide the means to fix it onto the trailer if need be.
